My name is Ben Schwartz, I was a freelance writer for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update and the Late Show with David Letterman's monologue. After two years of freelancing, a large number of my jokes made it to air. However, for every joke that was accepted there was a pile of jokes that were rejected. This is the story of those jokes...and more recently, other short films and projects I've been working on.
Here is the first short film I wrote for rejectedjokes.com. It is called cheating and stars Sarah Burns, Greg Tuculescu and Ben Schwartz. It was filmed and edited by the amazing Bill Buckendorf. Enjoy.

The best part is your Different Strokes ringer. The scariest part was the burger king mask in the closet - might be worse than the boogeyman.
Mental note: Pack Burger King mask in knapsack from now on. The only hard part will be convincing the husbands what I am as there is no BK in the town...
So that is why SNL isn't funny anymore; they keep rejecting the good skits hmmm.
