My name is Ben Schwartz, I was a freelance writer for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update and the Late Show with David Letterman's monologue. After two years of freelancing, a large number of my jokes made it to air. However, for every joke that was accepted there was a pile of jokes that were rejected. This is the story of those jokes...and more recently, other short films and projects I've been working on.
Here is the third week of rejected jokes for August. The video includes rejected Letterman jokes from August '04 and August '05 as well as rejected Weekend Update jokes from various other months. Thank you to Steve Dressler for his photoshop magic.
