My name is Ben Schwartz, I was a freelance writer for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update and the Late Show with David Letterman's monologue. After two years of freelancing, a large number of my jokes made it to air. However, for every joke that was accepted there was a pile of jokes that were rejected. This is the story of those jokes...and more recently, other short films and projects I've been working on.
Here is the first week of rejected jokes for October '06. The video includes rejected monologue and Weekend Update jokes from October '04 and '05. To celebrate rejectedjokes.com's half birthday we are going to use a different "throw back" theme for each week of jokes. Thanks to Adam Pally and Gil Ozeri for this one.
