Here is the fourth week of rejected jokes for October featuring special guest Rob Riggle. Rob was a cast member on Saturday Night Live and is currently the newest correspondent for the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The video includes rejected Letterman jokes from October '04 and '05. The throw back theme for this week was written and performed by Eugene Cordero.

I believe it is a blood hound. But there is no way it is a beagle. Unless it had a dog breed change operation but I'm not sure if those exist.
I think it's a blood hound as well. When writing the joke I was thinking of a bloodhound, not sure why I wrote beagle.
