Here I am on Pete Holmes’ glorious podcast “You Made it Weird”. We talk about all sorts of real life things and emotions, so buckle up and prepare yourself for a two hour tangential journey through two dumb dumbs’ brains. Listen streaming above or by clicking the photo.
This season of House of Lies has been incredibly dark and crazy for my character Clyde. As the season goes on, he gets more and more desperate and lost. Without spoiling anything to come (because there is some enormous shit that goes down this season) here are some scenes from the first and fifth episode with Clyde trying to crawl out of the quicksand and get back to his friends.
I was a guest on another edition of Doug Benson’s podcast- Doug Loves Movies. This time my fellow guests were the hilarious Rob Huebel and Rich Sommer. You can listen by streaming above or clicking any of the photos to download it on iTunes. Photo credit is unknown but much appreciated.
Here I am on Jake and Amir’s podcast “If I Were You.” The boys (who have over 600 shorts on CollegeHumor) started an advice podcast that is filled with jokes and real life discussions. For all the hardcore Jake and Amir fans, we also talk about the process in which the three of us develop our stupid shorts together. Hope you enjoy! Here is my ninth appearance on the fantastic Comedy Bang Bang Podcast. This episode features host Scott Aukerman, me and Horatio Sanz as Groucho Marx’s grandson Coco Marx. Listen by streaming above or by clicking on any of the photos to download the mp3.

Here I am as a guest on Sean & Hayes’ “Hollywood Handbook” podcast. What a treat it was to be around these two Hollywood moguls and really talk about the craft behind the art behind the actings. Sean Clements and Hayes Davenport are truly “two of the greats”. I come on at the 15:15 mark. Listen streaming above or click on the photo below.
The Long Form Improv Special "House of Lies LIVE" Premieres Online 12/30 and on Showtime on NYE!
I have very special news! I executive produced and acted in a special for Showtime that will bring LONG FORM IMPROV TO TELEVISION!
The special is called HOUSE OF LIES LIVE and combines improv newbies Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell with improv veterans from our television show- Josh Lawson, Ryan Gaul, Lauren Lapkus, Eugene Cordero and myself. We get a single suggestion from the crowd to create an entire long form improv show. Every word and idea is made up on the spot. No one knows what is going to happen next.
I have been performing improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in both NY and LA for the past ten years and it has been a dream of mine to get long form on television to show off the kind of stuff the UCB Theatres do on a daily basis. And the fact that I get to do this while highlighting how funny and amazing the cast of House of Lies is, is just a beautiful treat. I hope people are blown away by how talented this cast is because it’s remarkable how good they are for trying this out for the first or second time. And this group in particular had never performed on stage together before the cameras started rolling.
Showtime has been unbelievably supportive and wonderful throughout this entire process. House of Lies Live will premiere ONLINE on December 30th then have it’s big television premiere on NYE at 10pm on Showtime.
This special means a lot to me and any love the tumblr/twitter/facebook/instagram/comedy community could give to support this type show on television would be very much appreciated. If this goes well, who knows what comes next.
Check out some of the clips below from the special that airs in just one week!
A wonderful short film I acted in "I'm a Mitzvah" is going to Sundance!
I am honored to announce that a short film I acted in, “I’m a Mitzvah” has been accepted into the Sundance Film Festival. The short was written by Ben Berman and Josh Cohen, directed by Ben Berman and the music was composed by Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields. It follows a young American man (me) who spends one last night with his deceased friend while stranded in rural Mexico. The story is dark and beautiful and was so much fun to film. Here’s the announcement in EW. Check out the first official teaser and poster below.
Right after I was a guest on Conan, I was whisked away to the Team Coco Podcast hosted by Aaron Bleyaert and RJ Thieneman. For the next 15 minutes we talked at the speed of light (I was probably still excited that I had just done Conan) about a series of things, including Aaron’s past relationships, my father’s middle name, Emmys, Oscars and Twinkies.
Last night I had the honor of being a guest on Conan. We talked about me being an extra in his sketches ten years ago, being recognized by strippers and my sketch group Hot Sauce (Adam Pally, Gil Ozeri, me) crossing the border with fake drugs and fake guns. I have been a huge fan of Conan for a long time, so this was a special one for me. So much fun. Here are two videos from my interview from last night.
I have been an enormous fan of Conan O’Brien since the beginning of Late Night, so I am insanely excited to announce that I’ll be a guest on his show this Wednesday at 11pm on TBS.
When I was starting up in NY, Conan’s show was nice enough to hire a lot of UCB guys to play bit parts in his sketches. I was a robot a few times and once played Congressman Mark Foley’s page alongside Gil Ozeri and Greg Burke. It was right after a story about the congressman supposedly sending dirty texts to young pages. This Wednesday is gonna be so much fun.
Here is my guest spot on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. We talk about Helen Mirren on the court, my UCB show Snowpants, Turbo, how I slept in a tent when I first moved to LA and somehow…we talked about me working for the Late Show with David Letterman. The spot is split up into two different videos. Both embedded below. Hooray!
Collegehumor’s first feature length film, Coffetown, is out on iTunes RIGHT NOW. The movie stars Glenn Howerton (Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Steve Little (Eastbound and Down), me (Rejectedjokes.com), Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights) and Josh Groban (Music). You can rent or download it right this second on iTunes by clicking on the photo below. Enjoy!
Here is my eighth appearance on the insanely funny Comedy Bang Bang Podcast. This episode features host Scott Aukerman, me and Paul F. Tompkins as Werner Herzog. PFT makes me laugh like a boy in love with the world. I love this episode. Listen by streaming above or by clicking on any of the photos to download the mp3.
Here is my second appearance on the wonderful Who Charted Podcast with Kulap Vilaysack and Howard Kremer.
