My name is Ben Schwartz, I was a freelance writer for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update and the Late Show with David Letterman's monologue. After two years of freelancing, a large number of my jokes made it to air. However, for every joke that was accepted there was a pile of jokes that were rejected. This is the story of those jokes...and more recently, other short films and projects I've been working on.
It's been over two years since I launched RejectedJokes.com. So, I was looking through some old files and found this video from July 2006 of Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite (Efren Ramirez) plugging the website. Sorry for not posting more frequently but new short films and fun projects are on the way!
Due to SuperDeluxe merging with Adult Swim, my last SuperDeluxe short won't be premiering until late July. I apologize for the delay but to ease your frustrations, here is a video that has the ability to make anyone around my age smile.

Answers - The guy in Picture 2 hates the movie Armageddon.
Here I am in a commercial for Motorola. I'm the one eating cereal and talking about scorpions. Although I haven't seen it yet, supposedly it's airing on TV and in certain movie theaters before the movie starts. So now you can say "GET THAT KID OFF THE SCREEN AND GET TO IRON MAN ALREADY!!!" and know exactly who you are angry at.
The website I've been doing short films for recently, SuperDeluxe.com, is going out of business and merging with AdultSwim.com. Before the merger is final, I have one more short film that should be premiering soon. With SuperDeluxe ending, I'm trying to figure out the fate of Bronx World Travelers and the other shorts I did on the site but hopefully everything will work itself out. In the meantime, here is a picture of Shia LaBeouf and Harrison Ford on a motorcycle.
Here is the latest installment of my web series Bronx World Travelers entitled Episode 5 - Let's Play. It's the one on one game to end all one on one games. The embedded player really doesn't do the picture quality justice, so please, click on the link below the video to see the short in the preferred higher resolution. You can watch all of the Bronx World Traveler episodes using the links below the video.
Last Thursday, in honor of finals week, CollegeHumor pulled an all-nighter with its fans and attempted to make ten short films in twelve hours. I stopped by the office at 1:30AM and alongside David Fishel, Amir Blumenfeld and Sam Reich hoped to aid in the quest to ten. All we had was a wheelchair, fifteen minutes and a dream.
Along with the short films, CH set up a live video feed throughout the night to chat with fans and give away free prizes. In an awesome example of the die hard fans CollegeHumor has, when I sat down at 3:30AM to mess around on the live feed there were still over 2,500 members online chatting, asking questions and ordering people to put shoes on their heads.
It was a great night for CH, they finished all ten shorts, gave away a bunch of free stuff and interacted with thousands of fans. When I got home at 4am, I found myself going back online to watch the live feed for another hour before going to bed. A big thank you to CollegeHumor for letting me play around.
Teddy Saw and Bronx World Travelers now on YouTube
SuperDeluxe has uploaded my videos Teddy Saw and Bronx World Travelers: Press Conference on YouTube. Now people can embed the files on different websites without the quality getting messed up. Hooray!
Warning: For those who have never seen Teddy Saw...be warned, it's the most fucked up short film I've ever done.
