South Carolina, Thank Yous and Fun
I taped all of the rejected jokes for June tonight at the UCB Theatre. A special thank you goes out to Jamey Shafer and Chris Cooper for taping the jokes and a big thank you to the hilarious Paul Scheer who was June’s special guest.
I am going to South Carolina for the next week to help out with some UCB Touring Company shows, so it will be a little harder to update the site.
On the radio interview front, I have already done one interview for a Wisconsin radio station which was a lot of fun and have some phone interviews for Chicago and Maryland radio stations coming up while I’m in South Carolina.
I am finishing a cartoon that was originally rejected by Mad Magazine when I was freelancing with them over a year ago. It is called Adam Shaw - the Mediocre Magician and follows the life of a sub-par street magician. My friend Steve Dressler is making my ridiculous ideas appear in cartoon form and the first installment should be up on the site within the next couple of weeks.
Oh yeah, just in case you wanted to know, when you google image the word “ridiculous” this picture is on the first page of results.
