Search Strings!

I am able to check how people get to my website. I can see what websites they were linked from, how many hits those websites have given me but more importantly I can see what words people put in search engines (Google, Yahoo) to ultimately get to rejectedjokes.com.

The most popular search strings are “rejected jokes”, “cheating” for the cheating short I did, “ben schwartz” and different incarnations of the beard championship interviews I did, “beard competition”, “moustache jokes” and other ridiculousness. Well, just recently, I found my favorite search string so far. Someone got to my site by typing in

“CONTACT BEN SAVAGE”

Hooray!!! Now, for those of you who are under the age of 20 and over the age of 30, you may not know who Ben Savage is. Allow me to brighten your life with a segment I like to call Ben Savage…legend.

Bennett “Ben” Joseph Savage was born on September 13th, 1980, which is kinda eerie because my middle name is Joseph as well and I was born on September 15. He is Fred Savage’s brother…which completes another connection to the movie the Wizard for my website.

Most of you remember Ben Savage as the lovable Cory on Boy Meets World.

“What do I think about to smile? Pissing on your soul!”

What is Boy Meets World? Well, it’s a TV series that most likely blew your mind. It followed Cory, his best friend and his girlfriend through all of the ups and downs of high school.

Director - “Is it too much if in the logo I try to get across that these smiling kids love paper airplanes, baseballs and globes. No, not too much, awesome let’s go for it!”


Luckily their spin-off Boy Meets Homosexual Motorcycle World did not take off.

This show was tremendously popular for kids who had pepperoni bagel bites but nothing to do when eating them.

Now that we know about his past, you probably want to know what Ben Savage looks like now.

All kidding aside, the guy seems to be doing a lot of cool stuff. From what I researched, he is currently following the road to politics.
